We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize product shipments for purchased furniture and home furnishing items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery Coordination:
    • Plan, schedule, and oversee the delivery of purchased furniture and home furnishing items to customers.
    • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to ensure on-time and damage-free deliveries.
  • Shipment Oversight:
    • Manage order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy in product packaging, labeling, and dispatch.
    • Track shipments and provide updates to customers, ensuring they are informed about delivery timelines.
  • Inventory Coordination:
    • Work with the inventory team to ensure stock availability and accurate tracking of outgoing products.
    • Coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain organized and efficient operations.
  • Customer Support:
    • Address and resolve logistics-related customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Communicate delivery procedures and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Vendor and Partner Management:
    • Maintain strong relationships with logistics partners, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
    • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with logistics providers to optimize costs and service quality.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify inefficiencies in shipping processes and recommend enhancements to improve delivery times and reduce costs.
    • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics operations.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for handling and transporting furniture.
    • Monitor logistics operations to prevent product damage or loss during transit.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools for tracking and managing shipments.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to interact with customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.

Preferred:

  • Experience in furniture or home furnishing logistics.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with third-party logistics providers and delivery platforms.
